The Interact Club of Sandbach is a group for 12-18 year olds who want to help improve the community. They meet once a fortnight on Thursdays in H15 to plan and take part in events that will benefit our community, such as litter picking and fundraising for charities including Wateraid and St Luke’s Hospice. They also have lots of other projects coming up such as designing artwork to be displayed around Sandbach train station and visiting local care homes to provide company and entertainment. The president, Grace Milner, is even being sponsored to represent Great Britain and Ireland in a youth camp in Austria where she will be learning the German language, taking part in outdoor activities such as horse riding and white water rafting, and going on culture visits to Vienna. As a group they want to make the community a cleaner and more welcoming place to be, as well as helping the international community. New members are welcome to join us from years 7 to 13, so if you are interested come along to one of our meetings or for more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org
